Here at SparkNotes, we're so entranced by the series Senior Class Cougars that we're going to post one episode each Wednesday! (Of course, you can get the whole series at once on youtube, but where's the suspense in that?!) Why do we love Senior Class Cougars, an online show written and performed by real high school kids? Answers after the jump!
Sure, the actors aren't professional, but it's that very raw, real quality about the show that makes us go "omg I SO feel you!!!" To illustrate:
-The nastified florescent lighting that's like, a national requirement for every high school.
-The exterior shot of the building. How is it that even the prettiest high schools look like prisons, somehow?
-Distinct lack of windows. Nuff said there.
-Seniors look like actual seniors instead of senior citizens (*cough* *cough* Friday Night Lights!!!)
-Despite their unflattering environments, the girls still manage to achieve shiny hair.
What do you think of Senior Class Cougars? Would you go to Homecoming with Ed, Taylor, Becky, or that spazzy screaming guy? Come on, he's totally hot.
