Residents of Vancouver might be seeing some interesting local wildlife in the next few weeks, as half-naked werewolves with rippling pectoral muscles infiltrate its forests. According to today's intel, filming for the upcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon, is underway—which means that the hot young actors picked to play the Quileute wolf pack are running shirtless through the North American wilderness as we speak. (Click the link above for a beefcake-y photo of the ab-tastic group.)
Taylor Lautner will be reprising his role as Jacob Black, while actors Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon, and Bronson Pelletier round out the rest of the howlers. Film director Chris Weitz insisted on authenticity in casting the pack, requiring each actor to produce official documents proving that he is, in fact, a werewolf.
What?
Oh, never mind—apparently the documentation only had to prove that the actors are of Native American heritage, not that they're actual werewolves. Well, fine. But the whole movie is going to be totally unrealistic now. Next thing you know, they'll be telling us that Robert Pattinson isn't really a vampire.
