Literary Ghosts Ranked from Least Scary to Scariest

It’s almost Halloween—a time when the world seems to revolve around pumpkins, trick-or-treating, and ghost stories. It’s also a time when even people like me (and by people like me I mean people who wouldn’t watch a horror movie if you paid them) are forced to deal with all things creepy.

But I’ve never considered myself a coward (okay, maybe a little—what, am I supposed to just go into a dark room ALONE?), so today I’m ranking ghosts from literature on a scale from 1 to "WOULD LITERALLY KILL YOU, DO NOT APPROACH."
