QUIZ: Is This a Pride and Prejudice Quote or a Lana Del Rey Lyric?

QUIZ: Is This a Pride and Prejudice Quote or a Lana Del Rey Lyric?

Focus Features/Lana Del Rey/Facebook

Pride and Prejudice actually has a lot of sentences besides "It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife." I know. I was surprised, too. What's even more surprising is that most of those other sentences sound almost IDENTICAL to something Lana Del Rey would be crooning in a bluesy ballad. Can you tell them apart?

1. "We both know that it is not fashionable to love me."

2. "Vanity, not love, has been my folly."

3. "We do not suffer by accident."

4. "I feel free when I see no one, and nobody knows my name."

5. "Will you still love me when I shine from words but not from beauty?"

6. "He is a gentleman, and I am a gentleman’s daughter."

7. "You're part of the past, but now you're the future."

8. "The more I see of the world, the more I am dissatisfied with it."

9. "You are wasting your time with me."

10. "I do not belong in the world. That's what it is; something separates me from other people."

11. "I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun."

12. "What are young men to rocks and mountains?"

13. "Let your memory dance in the ballroom of my mind."

In real life, she goes by the name Courtney Gorter. This is a closely guarded secret, and you're the only one who knows about it, so be cool. You can follow her on Twitter or check out her website if you want, but it's just going to be a lot of complaining.
