QUIZ: Is This a Shakespeare Quote or a Lana Del Rey Lyric?

The 17th century had William Shakespeare; the 21st century has Lana Del Rey. You might think I'm exaggerating the cultural significance of the latter by comparing her to the former, but try and tell me you didn't have a religious experience the first time you ever heard "Blue Jeans." Go ahead. I'll wait.

With that in mind, can you tell a Shakespeare line from a Lana Del Ray lyric?

1. "My drops of tears I’ll turn to sparks of fire."

2. "All the pretty stars shine for you, my love."

3. "My soul is in the sky."

4. "Let’s do it after the high Roman fashion and make death proud to take us."

5. "Through the fire, we're born again. Peace by vengeance brings the end."

6. "I would eat his heart in the marketplace."

7. "The sun also rises on those who fail the call."

8. "I'll teach you how to flow."

9. "My tongue will tell the anger of my heart—or else my heart, concealing it, will break."

10. "I'll never dare change thee to what you are not."

11. "Everything looks better from above, my king."

12. "Journeys end in lovers meeting."

13. "These violent delights have violent ends."

14. "We are the masters of our own fate. We are the captains of our own souls."

15. "God has given you one face and you make yourselves another."
