If Hamlet Had Snapchat

Wikimedia Commons

Hamlet and I are alike in a lot of ways. We both complain too much, wear mostly black, and make a lot of casual jokes about death.

There are, however, some key differences, one of them being that I don’t use Snapchat all that often (my life just isn't exciting enough) whereas I feel like Hamlet would be using it every minute of every day. Don’t lie—you know what I’m talking about here. Dude gives off a vibe. You think the guy who spends half the play soliloquizing ISN’T going to have a Snap story that’s 45 minutes long? Please.

So what would it look like if the characters of Hamlet had Snapchat? Wonder no more. I’ll show you exactly what it would look like.

In real life, she goes by the name Courtney Gorter. This is a closely guarded secret, and you're the only one who knows about it, so be cool. You can follow her on Twitter or check out her website if you want, but it's just going to be a lot of complaining.
