13 Times J.K. Rowling Schooled Her Twitter Followers on Language, Grammar, & Everything Else



Our Lady of Wizards here reminds a Twitter follower what "hypocrite" actually means. In this case, a follower is accusing her of hypocrisy because she was voting for "remain" during the Scottish referendum (JK Rowling is Scottish and wants Scotland to remain part of the UK). Rowling reminded our dude friend that having a different opinion does not, in fact, make you a hypocrite (hypocrisy: the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform).
