7 Fictional Characters Whose Names Give Away the Story

Napoleon from 'Animal Farm'

I get it, okay? The whole thing’s an allegory for Russian communism and a cautionary tale about political tyranny as a whole. But at least name your dictator pig something like "Tim" or "Bob" so that we get to very end before we feel like we’ve been had. I want to be TRICKED into reading a parable about absolute power, dammit. I want to think to myself, "Hey, maybe everything’s going to end up okay for Gary the pig" before getting to the part where I’m like, "GARY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? THE WORKERS SHOULD CONTROL THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION!"
