The Harry Potter Books, Ranked from Worst to Best

Warner Bros.

#6: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Order of the Phoenix is such a bummer, which is obviously what I love about it. There’s nothing I love more than a book that makes me cry, and I’m 100% serious about that. Still, I wouldn’t go so far as to say that having my still-beating heart torn out of my chest cavity is my FAVORITE thing to do. (I enjoy, like, scrapbooking and puzzles and stuff.)

And while I understand why Harry is angsting it up all over the place (he’s got half the wizarding world trying to kill him, and also he’s 15 so his body is probably doing all KINDS of changing), I will admit that Harry getting in touch with his inner Holden doesn’t make for easy reading.
