In King Lear, Cornwall, the brattiest brat to ever whine, goes to visit his father's friend, Gloucester. While visiting, he "plucks out" Gloucester's eye, throws it on the ground, and steps on it—then goes back for the other eye, as his wife cheers him on. Even by Willy Shakes' standards, this is a bit...unsubtle?
