5 Books We Would Love to See Gender-Swapped

Warner Bros.

Lord of the Flies is getting an all-female movie reboot, which you probably already know and are having thoughts about. Personally, if you had asked me which classic novel should get genderbent, I would not have said Lord of the Flies. I’m not saying I don’t want to see a bunch of girls on an island fighting each other with sticks; I’m just saying I already saw that movie starring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and it was great.

Instead—for all the Hollywood studio executives who are undoubtedly reading this and care what I think—allow me to submit a few alternate ideas for your consideration.
