We have all read our share of messed-up books in the name of school. Every single one of us has experienced an In Cold Blood, a Lolita, maybe a Clockwork Orange or two. It’s simply inevitable. Let’s talk about them.

Now, I could not include EVERY disturbing, godforsaken book that ever maligned our schools, so please let me know what I missed. Specifically, I did not include The Yellow Wallpaper because it’s a short story, not a book, and frankly I still don’t think I’m there yet, you know what I mean?
