Romeo and Juliet and Cats and Dogs

Cuddles and Rage

Credit:

If you consider the amount of balcony climbing, mewling, and back-alley fights in Romeo and Juliet, you have to concede that there is a 50/50 chance Shakespeare wrote it about cats. Add to that Romeo's penchant for falling instantaneously in loyal forever-love with whomever gives him a pat, and you can see that the whole play is really a treatise on the age-old rift between cats and dogs.

To better understand the story, artist duo Cuddles and Rage have created their own miniature Verona, and populated it with disturbingly cute feline Capulets and canine Montagues. Ready to have your heart broken into a thousand tiny pieces of clay? Click on!
