Find Your Valentine's Anthem: Slow-Dance Jams of the 2010s

Find Your Valentine's Anthem: Slow-Dance Jams of the 2010s

Jason Mecier/Splash

We could argue that the '90s or even the early aughts were the slow jam’s true golden age, what with the multitude of weepy Coldplay singles or powerhouse diva scorchers from Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey.  Truth be told, it’s hard to think of a present-day ballad that's as universally likely to glue couples together at a Bat Mitzvah, prom, or homecoming soiree as effectively as “All My Life” by K-Ci and JoJo or "Truly Madly Deeply," by Savage Garden.

We managed to comb through our dance party archives and come up with a few soft 'n’ sultry numbers to drool on your crush’s shoulder to. (Class of 2009 snuck onto the list because how could we exclude “Halo”?) So far, Adele is Queen of the Sentimental Slow Jam (With TSwift trailing  juuust behind her). The rest of the decade is anyone’s guess.
