My first response to the Catching Final trailer that aired during the fifth inning of last night's World Series game: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
My second response to the trailer: "I MUST WATCH IT IMMEDIATELY!"
Note: My first response was a reaction to the news that the trailer EXISTED. I had not yet seen one second of actual footage, because I didn't know the World Series was even happening, let alone that the most important trailer of all time would be released while some dudes kicked a hockey puck around (that is my understanding of what takes place during the World Series).
My third response to the trailer (upon actually viewing it): *See first response, but add in heavy sobbing and several victory hip-thrusts.
I won't deprive you of your very own three-part reaction by meticulously breaking down the 1-minute-7-second masterpiece that is about to set your world ON FIRE—just allow me to say a few simple words before you press PLAY:
...And that about sums it up. Watch the trailer, watch it again, watch it 87 more times while clutching your life-size Finnick Odair cardboard cutout, and then hit the comments to fan-girl with me. ONLY 24 MORE DAYS, TRI-BUTTS.
SO?! WHAT'D YOU THINK?! HOW MANY COUCH-CUSHION ROLLS DID YOU DO?! DID THE TRAILER, TO BORROW A PHRASE FROM MY ESTEEMED COLLEAGUE EMILY WINTER, MAKE YOU "FEEL ALL THE FEELS"?!? AHHHHHHHHHH
