So I'm a Korean immigrant, moved here when I was 7.
So I'm pretty much white-washed I guess people say.
The thing is, guys, no matter how much I love America and the stuff that comes out of it, I can't really say that America loves me back.
My family has been trying for 10 years to apply for permanent residency (which is called a green card) but to no avail.
It's like battling a fierce dragon.
Until you kill it, you keep fighting.
My parents are fighting for me, my little sister and our entire family back in Korea.
But we need your help.
We really do.
This link directs you to the White House page where you can make an account and sign this petition.
This would mean so much to me and my family and hundreds of thousands of other people out there.
*Personal story time*
So I came back from Paris, you know with the whole band and everything.
There's a sign above me that said, "US Citizens, Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents: Lanes 4, 5" and "Foreigners and Aliens: Lanes 2, 3".
I've been saying the Pledge of Allegiance for 10 years. I don't even know the Korean one.
But to be called an Alien is devastating.
Please help me and my family make a change and thank you for taking your time to read my post.
I love you all.
