I have no factual evidence to back up that claim; in fact, it may have officially been awards season, like, 3 fortnights ago (HA! today's goal of using "fortnight" in a sentence=DONE). But yesterday we had the People's Choice Awards, this Sunday we've got the Golden Globes, and the Oscars are just around the corner—which means your heads are about to be FULL-UP with visions of lovely celebs in gorgeous dresses. Last night's turnout wasn't quite as grand as I'd hoped (where was Emma Stone? Where was Ryan Gosling? Where was the high-octane GLAMOUR?), but let's just keep our fingers crossed that that means everyone is simply getting some rest and saving their A-game for the big show on Sunday.
