Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen teamed up to release the song "Good Time" about a month ago (written, by the way, by Adam Young and Matt Thiessen, not Carly Rae). The music video just came out today, and lucky for you, we've been watching it on repeat...which basically makes us "Good Time" experts.
And the music video is...cute. Carly Rae, Adam Young, and all of their friends go on a camping trip which (conveniently) includes a cabin mysteriously equipped with slushie machines. But with all the denim cutoffs and campfires, we can't help feeling like they're trying a little too hard to make this a summer anthem. Especially when the summer's almost over and "Call Me Maybe" already won the Choice Summer Song.
Of course, it's still extraordinarily catchy, so we'll probably be singing it for the next four days. Or weeks.
What do you think, Sparklers? Are they trying too hard? Check out the video and let us know!
