NBK Mankler: EMERGENCY ADVICE SESSION

So, SparkleButts, I had a totally awesome post all written up, with news about having dinner with Eowyn and her roommates, (almost) asking her to a dance, and my plans to ask her to dinner (by herself) in a week or two, and of course the usual meme quotes and Disney references, but I’m scrapping that sucker. Because I have some really serious, game-changing news. And it’s not good.

Eowyn’s transferring to a different college. In 5 days. (Well, actually she’s going back home to figure out her options, work some, then start school again next year.) Yeah. This just happened. That’s the bad news. The good news: she may (emphasis on MAY) go to a school 40 minutes away, and would come up to visit. Also, we’ll (hopefully) be staying in touch over the interwebz (emphasis on HOPEFULLY). So, SparkleButts, here’s the part where I really need your advice. What do I do? Do I move on to one of the many other fish in the collegiate sea? Or should I go balls-out and tell Eowyn how I feel before she leaves? Please tell me what you think; I'm totally lost on this one!

Sorry this isn’t much of a post, more of a what-do-I-do-right-the-fudge-now appeal. I’ll write a follow-up letting you know what happened and maybe even giving you the lowdown on some of those other collegiate fish.
