A Thank You to SparkLife

Hey, all you awesomesauce Sparklers/ Manklers/Sploggers/Sparkitors/anyone-else-I-forgot! I’ve recently realized that there are a few people here on SparkLife that I need to thank. I know this isn’t usually the season for writing about thankfulness—people normally leave that to Thanksgiving—but this is something I’ve been thinking about for awhile.

So, without further ado, I want to thank:

Auntie Sparknotes, for always being there for us, and giving us some of the best advice in the world. You have always been there to give a comforting hug and to tell the truth like it is—the marks of an amazing Auntie and friend.

Chelsea Dagger, for letting me know that it’s ok to laugh at myself and that I am perfect just the way I am—sweat, pimples, and all!

Dan Bergstein, for making me laugh at the exact time when I needed it most, and for finally convincing me to read Harry Potter.

Jono, for being that awkward but amazing friend who gives great advice while staying awkward and amazing!

The Sparkitors, for editing all of our crazy articles; for writing incredible posts; for amusing us out of our minds!

The Sploggers, for taking time out of your regularly scheduled life to bring us articles ranging from the serious to the ridiculous, from books to fashion, and everything in between, on a regular basis. For blogging books, shows, and movies so I can learn what something’s really like before I jump into it.

All You Sparknotes Techie people, for keeping this site running; without you fixing things and maintaining order, I don’t think any of us would know what to do with ourselves. Gary would take over the world!

And finally, the biggest thank you of all to:

The Sparklers and Manklers, for making me smile, cry, jump up and down, laugh hysterically, and everything in between. For writing articles about your experiences in this game called Life, and helping other people get through problems that are similar to yours. For always being there for each other; for welcoming new Sparklers with open arms; for being courteous to others even when they don’t share your views; for being some of the best friends a person could ever wish to have.
