You guys, we forgot how much fun it is to reduce everything to 17 syllables! How did our haiku series fall by the wayside?! Hold your horses. We shall rectify this situation immediately.
Gratitude
I am thankful for
Marcel the Shell with Shoes On.
Oh, and family.
Aunt Deborah
Her clammy hands reach
To pull me to her bosom.
I die silently.
Sweet Potato Casserole
Yams are not the same
As the fluffy orange cloud
Covered in 'mallows.
Food Coma
This is the moment
That all things drawstring and loose
Were created for.
Family I
Even when I try
I can't remember a time
'Ere you drove me nuts.
Family II
Yet were you not here
When turkey was cut, grace said,
I would ugly cry.
