kim1412 joins recipe week with three awesome recipes for peanut butter cookies...don't bake too many!—Sparkitors
In this post, Sparklers, you get three for the price of one! That's right; I'm giving you THREE delicious recipes for peanut butter cookies, and you only have to thank me once. Enjoy!
Recipe #1 Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies
1 Cup Chunky Peanut Butter
1 Cup Nutella
2 Cups Sugar
2 Large Eggs
2 or 3 bags of M&M's
1/2 Cup Smooth Peanut Butter
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix the sugar and eggs in one bowl; then add the chunky peanut butter and nutella.
3. Roll dough into small balls about an inch in diameter, then use your fork to put a criss-cross pattern across the cookies. (Try putting something like sugar on the fork to make it UN-sticky, because the dough is really easy to mess up.)
4. Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes. When the cookies are done, your fork will come out of the dough clean.
5. Put some smooth peanut butter in a zipper bag, cut out a corner, and squeeze it onto the cookies. Add an m&m on top and voila, your cookies are done!
Recipe #2 No Bake Cookies
1/2 Cup Maple Syrup (or Corn Syrup)
1/2 Cup Sugar
4 Tablespoons Butter (unsalted)
1/2 Cup PB (smooth or chunky)
1 tsp salt
4 Cups Special K Cereal
First, microwave everything except the PB and cereal. While microwaving, crush Special K Cereal until it's tiny.
Stir the microwaved mixture and add the PB. Gradually stir in the cereal.
Roll into balls, place on non-stick pan, and squash flat. Wait for the cookies to harden and enjoy!
Recipe #3 Cute Candy Cookies
1 cup PB (smooth)
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
Colored Hard Candies
First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Mix up PB, sugar, and egg, then shape the dough into one of these two shapes:
1. MUG: Make a cylinder and dig your finger inside. Attach a handle.
2. MIRROR: Make an oval and push on the inside a little to make the outside part stand out.
Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the hard candies on the stove. When completely melted, pour into the empty places in the (baked) cookies, then let them harden in the fridge.
Warning: if the hard candy juice gets on you, it's going to BURN.
Most importantly, the rule of thumb when you are cooking is DON'T SET THE KITCHEN ON FIRE.
Don't these cookies sound gooooood?
