Do You Feel Sorry for Mariah?

You know how sometimes you tell a tiny little lie to your sister, and she tells your parents, and they tell your relatives, and somehow you find yourself at Thanksgiving dinner assuring everyone that yes, it's true, you really did win a Teen Pulitzer Prize in Fiction?

We think that's kind of what happened to Mariah Yeater.

Yes, it's terrible that she's pretending Justin Bieber fathered her child. But maybe she lied to her friends to get attention, and then they told everyone, and then somehow she found herself on Inside Edition, being interviewed by a creepily soft-spoken host.

Come on, don't you feel a little sorry for her? You can see the panic glittering in her eyes. She's so scared by her own lies that she's weepy and dry-mouthed. And perhaps worst of all, no one told her to get her hair blown out before the interview.
