Metalhead Is Gonna Make a Move-But He Needs Your Help!

Metalhead865 is back with more updates on his lurvveeee life—and ladies, he needs your input! (To catch up on his series, click here!)—Sparkitors

Well, hello again! Stuff that's been happening lately:
-I made the Drama Club Improv Team
-I got into the National Honor Society
-I'm making good progress on recording my album

Stuff that hasn't changed:
-My sister still bothers me
-My dad won't let me have my own car key
-I'm still an NBK

Metalhead865? More like MetalheadNBK. ANYWAY...

So, I realized that a few different things are contributing to my NBK status—and I really don't know how to work them out. Which is why I'm turning to you, the Sparklers. I need your help! Here are the issues I'm having:

1. I'm afraid of rejection. I don't want to ask someone out and get turned down, or worse, confess my undying love for someone and forever be known as Metalhead, the Creeper who Creeps. (I don't want to be in the same boat as Arthur...)

2. All the girls I like are either too good of a friend for me to ask out (I expect a lot of negative responses for this one—but I just feel like it would be awkward if I tried!) or someone I barely know (which would DEFINITELY be awkward if I tried).

So that's what I'm struggling with. But on the bright side, I recently came into possession of two things that may help me with my quest for love (or at least me quest with "like"). Neither of those things is courage, but here's what I'm working with:
-two free tickets to the local comedy place
-a $30 gift card to Olive Garden (the guy who gave it to me said it was to help me on my first date)

I plan to use both of these within the next six months. In fact, I may try to use those tickets this weekend...hmm. Wish me luck, Sparklebutts!

LUCCCCKKKK! Guys, how can Metalhead get over his fears and ask out a girl? And what's your opinion on asking out a close friend?
