Why "The Magic School Bus" Was The Best Thing That Will Ever Happen to Mankind

supertoasty613 has a point—we loved The Magic School Bus when we were kids!—Sparkitors

TV today isn't what it used to be. Way back when, the most popular kid's shows were probably The Brady Bunch and Blue's Clues. Today, we've been taken over by a bilingual 5-year-old who can't find a blue tree and teens on Disney Channel who suffer from identity crises (MileyCyrusisHannahMontanasayWHAT?!).But probably the best—no, THE BEST—show on Earth was THE. MAGIC. SCHOOL. BUS. I mean, seriously: eight cool kids, one freakin' awesome redheaded teacher, and a school bus that can turn into anything (except Chuck Norris—only Chuck Norris can turn into Chuck Norris). Here's why the Magic School Bus was my favorite show:

6. It made me appreciate science. If it hadn't existed, Biology would have been my worst class, and my science teacher would be as lame as an antelope in a body cast. Thankfully, Algebra was my worst class, and a world without algebra is a world without man-eating pizza—basically, a better world. (Just kidding. I still love you, Mrs. Overly-strict Math Teacher. Sorta.)

5. It opened up new worlds. Like volcanoes! And plants! And bloodstreams!

4. It was (somewhat) humorous. Until everyone ruined the humor by saying "CARLOS!" all the time. Stupid impulses. I shall slay you with the blunt side of a spoon.

3. It had a lizard. Give that lizard a British accent and The Magic School Bus becomes a 30-minute GEICO commercial for kids. WHAT MORE COULD THE WORLD WANT?

2. Ms. Frizzle. She was awesome. 'Nuff said.

1.That school bus could turn into anything. Seriously, if Ms. Frizzle was hungry in the middle of nowhere, and she had the Bus, she could say, "Bus! Turn into a cheese sandwich!" pull a few levers, and BAM! The Bus is a cheese sandwich. I mean, if something can turn into a PLANET OF IT'S OWN, why couldn't it turn into a SANDWICH?!

So sign the petition! Bring the Magic School Bus back! THE FATE OF GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT DEPENDS ON IT!

Did you ever watch The Magic Schoolbus? Do you wish you still could?!
