You Know You're From Toronto When...

I've seen places all over the US of A being represented on SparkNotes, but not a word has been spoken about Toronto, Ontario, which is located in CANADA! Therefore, I was forced to come here to represent the most amazing place in the entire world.  Here's how you know you’re from Toronto:

-You're aware that your country's led by a prime minister, not a president.

-You live in a province, not a state.

-You love the Toronto Maple Leafs with a passion!

-...unless, of course, you are ashamed of them. Because, let's face it, they never win. (Sadly, the same can be said for The Toronto Blue Jays.)

-To you, the Sky Dome will forever be the Sky Dome, and NEVER the Roger’s Center.

-You actually know the predominant culture traits of the Danforth.

-You're taught French in school, because your home country is bilingual.

-A typical class trip includes the Science Center, Wonderland, Harbour Front, Casa Loma, and Quebec.

-You are aware that "harbour" and "colour" are correctly spelled with a "u."

-You love the fact that Drake, Classified, Avril Lavigne, Shania Twain, and Kardinal Offishall are Canadian.

-...but, unless you're a 12-year-old Canadian girl, you hate the fact that Justin Bieber is from the same country as you.

-You've gone on day trips across the border to Buffalo, where us Canadians hate the huge portion sizes but love the low prices.

-You cannot stand when American television shows make jokes about Canada.

-You laugh when the Disney Channel gives away trips to Toronto.

-You Liked this Facebook group: “USA, I'ma let you finish..but Canada has the most gold medals of all time.”
