Is Plano really this different from the rest of Texas, or do we just know nothing about Texas, mamajo8296? —Sparkitors
You know you're from Plano, TX when...
- You’re not afraid to use coupons.
- Even if there is a blizzard and every other district has canceled school, you're still going.
- You can experience all four seasons in a week, and it can go from pouring rain to brilliant sunshine in 5 minutes.
- You either cheer for A&M, the Longhorns or OU….but if you cheer for OU, you will get dirty looks.
- You differentiate between West, East, and Central Texas. (Central is the best btdubs.)
- Your school is at least 30% Asian.
- You hear kids in your honors biology class talking about their grades, GPA and class rank in Chinese because they don’t want others to hear and be intimidated.
- You make fun of others for freaking out about school, but you are just as obsessed with your GPA/rank as any of the nerds.
- You don’t think twice when you see an Indian woman at the grocery store in a sari.
- Every single street in your neighborhood looks the same.
- You say "y’all" without skipping a beat.
- You know the only good place to hang out is the mall.
- You go to KD or the library on the weekends to meet your friends.
- You know what KD is.
Will someone please tell us what KD is???
