For Politics class I need to write a book review on a political non-fiction book. It's due in June but we are supposed to start reading now. Any suggestions? Shake Hands with the Devil by Romeo Dallaire is already taken...
I would recommend:
- The Bridge: The Life and Rise of Barack Obama, by David Remnick
- Columbine, by Dave Cullen
- Game Change: Obama and the Clintons, McCain and Palin, and the Race of a Lifetime, by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin
- The Looming Tower: Al Qaeda and the Road to 9/11, by Lawrence Wright
- The Politician: An Insider's Account of John Edwards's Pursuit of the Presidency and the Scandal That Brought Him Down, by Andrew Young
I guess I'm still pretty interested in the 2010 election! Does anyone have anything non-America-focused/non-election-related to recommend to this Sparkler?
