New Splash-Ups (SparkLife + Mash-ups)

You've probably realized that your Sparkitors and Sploggers are big fans of the portmanteau (that's Fancy Speak for word mash-ups). Around SparkLife HQ, creating new words is kind of a sport (sportmanteau). Our only other exercise during the winter consists of eye rolling and curling, so we've been playing extra long hours to keep our vocabularies in tip-top fighting shape. Sparkitor = SparkLife + editor

Splogger = SparkLife + blogger

Mankler = man + Sparkler

Splurker = Sparklife + lurker (someone who furtively enjoys SparkLife without commenting or posting)

New Splash-ups for your consideration:

Splammer = Sparkler + BAM (a Sparkler who abuses the BAM)

Spardor = SparkLife + ardor (extreme love for SparkLife)

Snarkler = snark (snide + remark) + Sparkler (a Sparkler with acidic wit)

Sprokrastinate = SparkLife + procrastinate (to read SparkLife as a means of putting off actual work)

Commentroversy = comment + controversy (controversy in the comments)

Splote = SparkLife + post + vote (a SparkLife post that asks you to vote)

Auntitude = Auntie + attitude (Auntie's impatience with intolerance)

Marmaid = Marm + aid (essay help from Miss Marm, who may or may not be half fish, half really smart lady)

Stainiac = stain + brainiac (someone who is constantly reminding you how smart he/she is)

Blajamas = blogger + pajamas (the work uniform of a Splogger)
