Cartoons That Make Me Miss Being a Kid, Round 2

Cartoons That Make Me Miss Being a Kid, Round 2

SyedaW used to a be a huge fan of cartoons—and some things never change.—Sparkitors

Although Mochalatte's recently published list of awesome cartoons is, well, awesome, I'd like to add a few forgotten gems. Here are some cartoons that I used to love, and and some that I still watch occasionally (or maybe every single day, but who's counting).

1. Danny Phantom: All you really need to know, aside from the fact that this is a show about a boy with ghost powers, is that Danny Phantom is HOT.

2. Mew Mew Power: Five girls use their new-found powers to keep aliens from taking over the earth. It's an old anime which seems really cheesy now, but it still brings back lots of good memories.

3. Arthur: I used to love this show—heck, I still do. This batch of 4th graders is funny and entertaining; my mom and I laugh with my little sister, as she watches it, while my other sister sadly shakes her head at our uncoolness.

4. Maya and Miguel: What's so great about this show is that it teaches the audience about respecting different cultures; Maya and Miguel are Hispanic, but they have friends of every ethnicity. Plus, they're really cute!

5. Martha Speaks: This show, which revolves around a talking dog, is hilarious and educational.

6. Tom and Jerry: Do I really need to explain this one?

7. Scooby-Doo: This was an ultimate childhood favorite. It rolls talking dogs, mysteries, and humor all into one!

8. Pokemon: The Pokemon theme song was the first song I became addicted to. This show is  a classic that everyone has seen (or should have seen).

9. Kim Possible: Kim Possible is a crime-fighting, cheerleading teen. And as lame as I made that sound, I assure you that it's extremely entertaining. Still not convinced? Am I the only one who remembers Rufus?

10. Yu-Gi-Oh GX: OK, I know what you're thinking. "Ugh, Yu- Gi- Oh." But hear me out: this was a great cartoon! In fact, I used to have a thing for Jayden. Hey, don't throw stuff at me—I was only a kid!

11. The Flinstones: Ahhh, I still remember those mornings when I argued with my sister over who got to shower first, because neither of us wanted to miss Flinstones. How can anyone resist this show? They have a pet dinosaur!

12. Winnie the Pooh: Another classic. Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Owl, Rabbit, Eeyore, and Christopher Robin: this old gang was simply charming. Period.

I could keep listing forever, but I don't think SparkLife has room for 100 pages of my ranting.

Did Syeda leave any off the list?
