My Crush is Animated

My Crush is Animated

Your list is pretty solid, one25centpeice, but aren't you forgetting JAFAR?! Man, what a stud.—Sparkitors

Here is yet another post about the joys of having a crush on a boy. I thought it was necessary, because though we've scraped very close to this topic with My Crush is a TV Character and My Crush is a Cartoon, animated cuties are in a league of their own. Enjoy the following crush-worthy fellows!

1. Wilbur from Meet The Robinsons: He has a freakin' cowlick, for goodness' sake! What could be cuter? Plus, he has the appeal of being the carefree, reckless teenager in the beginning of the movie, and then sort of ruining everybody's lives, and then redeeming himself by helping to save the future. And he has a cowlick!

2. Linguini from Ratatouille: Who can resist an awkward, clumsy co-protagonist? Plus, he's French... ish, and his helpless, puppy-dog demeanor is just so adorable. He works his way up the popularity food chain, and then realizes what's really important in life—he's got his priorities in order. And though he doesn't have a cowlick, his curly, fly-away hair is equally amazing. Also, the toque is hot. Every time.

3. Shrek from... well, Shrek: I know what you're thinking, or saying, or throwing at me right now, but consider this: while he may not be the most physically attractive dude on the block, he's easily one of the coolest animated characters ever. He starts out as a slobbish, grumpy bachelor, and then he transforms into a hero and a gentleman (almost). He doesn't have hair, but he does have an accent—'nuff said.

4. Dr. Cockroach from Monsters vs Aliens: The main reason I like this character is because he is voiced by Hugh Laurie, who possesses the suavest and most alluring English accent of all time. Plus, the little guy has the cutest eyes! I can't even watch the previews of the movie without melting over those spectacles. And the icing on the creepy insect cake: he's indestructible (he's a cockroach, remember?) and insane. I can't resist a mad scientist with a sexy House voice.

Last, but not least, I give you:

5. Wall-E from Wall-E: He's a robot... with a heart! And a knack for collecting things! And a taste for old musicals! And a little pet! He's everything a girl (like me) looks for in a guy, and even though his lack of height and his cold metal exterior render our relationship impossible, I just couldn't leave him off my list of crush-worthy animated stars.

Got any animated cuties on your mind? Do tell!
