Summer Sparku

Summer Sparku

By Kathryn_Williams

It's almost July, which means we haven't used our brains in approximately 683 hours, 46 minutes, and 84 seconds. Our noodles are getting a little, well, flabby. So we've decided to put ourselves on a strict diet of crossword puzzles and House and a daily regimen of Sparku (that's SparkLife haiku). Check out our summer-inspired pearls of poetic wisdom:

Bikini
If you post this on
Facebook, I will defriend you.
You are dead to me.

Fourth of July
Squat, light, sizzle, run!
Screech, whir, boom, crack, bang, fizzle
Ooh ahh ooh ahh ooh...

Hot Dogs
Perfect log of pork
In a toasted white bread bun—
Who cares what's in you?

Summer TV
Glee, where hast thou gone
Reruns, I am sick of you.
Is it only June?

The Beach
Perfect day for beach.
Burn, sand, water up my nose.
Can we go home now?

Sunburn
I put on fifteen.
I promise I put it on.
Ouch. More aloe, please.

Give us your finest summer Sparkus!
