We can't publicly condone the rearranging of bookstore shelves, but after reading this email, we will privately condone it any day of the week (unless the police are reading this, in which case: we are law-abiding citizens with clean records, sir). kittysaymrowww sent this photograph along with this hilarious explanation:
today, I went to a bookstore and was looking at the bestseller shelf, and I saw the Twilight graphic novel. I then proceeded to go to the teen shelf and cover up as many Twilight books as possible by putting the books I like in front of them. I started with HP, but then continued with books by Ellen Hopkins, Tamora Pierce, the Maximum Ride books, some Percy Jackson books, Icemark Chronicles, and even something I was forced to read at school that I ended up immensely enjoying-The Book Thief. I think I did good. I honestly felt as though I saved lives. I plan on returning with A LOT of sticky notes with a link to Dan's blog ASAP...
