My Four-Leaf Clover Will Bring Me...

St. Patrick’s Day is a day of much excitement. We get excited about green, leprechauns, pinching, and four-leaf clovers, which are said to bring good luck. What would happen if we got hold of one of these mystical four-leaf clovers? I have come up with a list of what I think would happen, and a list of what I hope will happen when I finally find my own four-leaf clover:

This is what will probably happen...

* I will get a pot-smoking two-timer for a boyfriend.
* I will lose my wallet. (Oh, wait! That already happened.)
* My parents will never put texting capabilities back on my phone.
* I will keep getting bad haircuts.
* My mom will continue refusing to allow me to dye my hair.
* I will have to mow the lawn every weekend of my life until I graduate high school.
* My annoying neighbor will stay put until he graduates high school.
* My cousin will die before she reaches the age of 30.
* My sister will stay the same brat she has always been.
* I will not meet the Harry Potter cast unless I manage to hallucinate the occurrence.
* I won't get into my dream school, or if I do, I'll have to pay for it myself.
* I will have a hard time getting a job because of budget cuts.
* I will never be a professional writer for SparkLife.

And here's what I hope will happen with my future four leaf clover...

* I will get a great boyfriend.
* I will find a $100 bill on the ground.
* I will get texting back.
* My texting will be unlimited.
* I will get the perfect haircut.
* I will be allowed to dye my hair.
* The grass will evolve and I won’t have to mow the lawn anymore.
* My neighbor will move.
* My cousin will live past 30 years old.
* My sister will stop being such a brat.
* I will meet the cast of Harry Potter in person.
* I will get into my dream college on full scholarship.
* I will get my dream job.
* I will have job writing on the side for SparkLife.

The truth is sad, so I am hoping I find a four-leaf clover, and when I put it under my pillow, a leprechaun takes it. Fingers crossed!
