The Official SparkLife High School Olympic Games

What’s better than watching the Olympics? Being in the Olympics! We’re hoping one of you wonderful Sparklers will make it there one day, and that you'll shout us out in your post-competition interview. (“I’d like to thank the writers at SparkLife for keeping me entertained between practices!” Just a suggestion.)

Even those who won’t make it to the to the international games can still have some Olympic fun. Online you can find the Hipster Olympics, the Office Olympics, and even the Unemployed Olympics. We decided to create our own very illustrious SparkLife High School Olympics, with the following categories. Choose your teammates wisely!

The 3 Ring Binder Toss: Float that 3 ring binder through the air, throwing it as far as you can.
Winner gets… a pack of dividers and a vintage Trapper Keeper.

Bathroom Pass Relays: I’ve got to go, you’ve got to go, we’ve all got to go! Hope your team can make it to the bathroom and back before your teacher catches on.

Winner gets… an unlimited hall pass.

Freshman Backpack Hurdles: Those freshman and their crazy big bags. Let’s see how many you can clear without face planting in the hallway.
Winner gets… a locker away from the freshman hall.

Cafeteria Tray Luge: Our only outdoor event, this one requires snow or a muddy hill… then it’s a race to the bottom on your lunch tray!

Winner gets… a free lunch.

The Best Friend Yodel: Hey, isn’t that your best friend two hallways and a flight of stairs away? There’s only one way to tell… yell his/her name at the top of your lungs and wait for a response. First one whose bestie yodels back wins!

Winner gets… a pack of Ricola.

Final Bell 50-yard Dash: The last bell of the day has rung—how fast can you evacuate school premises?

Winner gets… to leave school. (Sorry, losers, better find a cozy place to sleep in the student lounge.)

Nurse Office Yoga: Which pose will get you that ticket home? Will it be the Armadillo stomach grab? The Weeping Willow nauseated hunchback? How about the dead fish fever?
Winner gets … a thermometer and an icepack.

Synchronized Seating: Here we’re judging on form, unity, and creativity. See if you and your team can coordinate a graceful and skilled “dance” to your seats.
Winner gets… one “get out of gym free” card.

What games would you add to your High School Olympics?
