Good Ideas/Bad Ideas...for Singletons

Valentine’s Day can be a daunting prospect for those who are not currently partaking in a romantic relationship. I should know. I’m dreading it myself and I’m sure many of you are too. Not that I’m stereotyping nerds, I’m just saying that it is most probable that some of you reading this might not have an SO at this current moment and that although I am sure many of you are in relationships it is inevitable that some of you…….oh you know what, I’m just digging a hole.

Good Idea: Have a long, hot bubble bath whilst listening to romantic music and thinking longingly of the one you want with you next year.
Bad Idea: Stalk said dreamboat to a restaurant and watch wistfully as your crush shares a romantic dinner with the actual love of his/her life

Good Idea: Invite around all your single friends the night before and go on a big group date as a celebration of your single lives
Bad Idea: Invite around all your single friends the night before, promising them an awesome time and then spend the whole night and the next day crying about your single life

Good Idea: If your crush is also a singleton, tell them how you feel about them (maybe not the part about you stealing their hat and smelling it every time you get lonely) and hope for a happy Valentine
Bad Idea: Run up to your crush and profess your undying love for them via the romantic works of William Shakespeare, then reveal the extent of your love, including all the gory details and your fetish about his hat.

Good Idea: Eat Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and watch romcoms with your BFF. Do not forget to swoon over them HOT actors! You too boys. If you don’t, the luuurve ninjas are gonna get you.
Bad Idea: Eat 5 tubs of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream on your own, whilst listening to depressing music and sobbing uncontrollably.

Good Idea: Lie in bed all day reading a romance novel and eating Valentine's chocolates.
Bad Idea: Lie in bed all day and……..nothing.
