Twilight Spoofs and the Shame of Joe Jonas: Taylor Swift on SNL

Over the weekend, teen country sensation (and recent Kanye West abusee) Taylor Swift pulled double-duty as the host and musical guest for Saturday Night Live. And while we haven't quite forgiven her for yet another performance of “You Belong With Me” (the song has been stuck in our head since sometime in August, and we've just about had it), she totally made up for it with her great comic timing, enthusiasm, and moments of awesomeness like:

-Semi-confirming her relationship with hot hot hottie/known werewolf Taylor Lautner, thus allowing us to freely fawn over the OMG SO ADORABLE existence of a cute couple with the same first name.

-Calling her exboyfriend a douchebag on national television. (Admit it, you've always wanted to do that.)

-Finally making a dig at Kanye West for his obnoxious stage-storming at the VMAs.

And, of course, the highlight of the show: a spoof of the Twilight trailer, featuring Swift (in a pitch-perfect, hair-tugging, lip-biting impression of Kristen Stewart) as a young woman engaged in a passionate romance with an odd-looking fellow who has the unfortunate tendency to “strangle people accidentally.” And also, neck bolts.
