Awesome Thing of the Week
With this week's Awesome Thing, Sparkler jewbiegirl reminded us of a fantastic twist on boring computer programs. We hadn't seen this animation in a few years (it was created in 2006, so it's ancient by web standards), and we were surprised to find that it still makes us smile.
We really identify with that little "victim"—sometimes a blank document in Microsoft Word is our greatest enemy. Anyone else feel the same? As always, rate this week's Awesome Thing on a scale of -10 to 10 in the comments, and thanks, jewbiegirl!
Last week's Awesome Thing, which led us editors to stay up half the night making 7 different versions of eCards for our friends, got a mere 6.11 ranking from you guys on the Scale of Awesomeness. What does 6.11 mean, you ask? It means some of you loved it, some of you thought it was the dumbest thing since raincoats without hoods (sadly, these exist), and overall it ranked Good. Solid. But Not Too Far Above "Meh."
Do you know something we don't know? Well we don't like secrets! Come clean! Send us your Awesome Things! We're waaaaaaaiting... at contribute@sparknotes.com.
