50 Wonderful Things

The headache is gone. The bad mood has lifted. Now it's on to brighter and happier times. To celebrate our better outlook on life, we took advice from the comments section and created a list of 50 things we're glad exist. Grab the nearest kitten, fluff your softest pillow, and pour a glass of melted Popsicle juice, because it's time to feel like sunshine and rainbows. Here are (in no particular order) 50 things we love:

1. Treasure.
2. Buying a new jacket and finding out months (or years) later that it has hidden pockets and a secret hood.
3. Pink Starbursts.
4. Light rain falling while you ride a roller coaster.
5. Songs that are longer than ten minutes.
6. Watches that are more than just watches.
7. Birds of prey.
8. Five Guys. (The burger joint. Suck on that, In and Out Burger!)
9. Werewolves.
10. The word "Cosmonaut."
11. Mixing cooking dough with your hands.
12. Cheap, poorly made, plastic souvenirs.
13. Bat-arangs (Batman's weapon of choice).
14. The Royal Tenenbaums.
15. Funny old people who tell it like it is.
16. This.
17. Slow-moving zombies.
18. Knowing a secret.
19. Pixar.
20. Sweet potato fries.
21. Concerts that start on time.
22. Stephen King's short stories.
23. Watching an entire season of a show on DVD in one lazy weekend.
24. Saturday Night Live's Kristen Wiig.
25. Rhinoceroses.
26. Receiving magazines in the mail.
27. Classic fairy tales full of uncensored gruesome details.
28. The last scene of The Sopranos.
29. Motorcycles with sidecars.
30. Inside jokes.
31. Free samples.
32. The weight of a dog's head as it rests on your leg.
33. Aircraft carriers.
34. Movies from the 1970s.
35. Coin counting machines.
36. Realizing that there is one more present hidden in the bottom of a gift bag.
37. Toilet paper.
38. Banana-flavored candy.
39. People who eat "supper" instead of "dinner."
40. Mark Twain.
41. The gurgle of a water cooler.
42. The straw/spoon used to drink/eat a Slurpee.
43. Leftover Chinese food.
44. The tension that builds throughout The Monster at the End of This Book.
45. Creepy legends and myths about the local neighborhood.
46. Two mirrors that face each other and create the illusion of infinity.
47. Puppets.
48. Paper airplanes that fly exactly where you want them to fly.
49. Magnets.
50. Soft-serve ice cream served in a tiny plastic baseball helmet.
