Sparkler frogelishis put together a music mix of songs that will make you say, "Oh yeahhhhh, I remember that one!" Enjoy! —SparkNotes Editors

Between the radio, YouTube, music blogs, and TV, it seems there's no shortage of new songs. But since we're always trying to keep up on what's new, it's easy to forget what's old. Here's a list of hits I don't ever want to forget:

"Ocean Avenue" by Yellowcard
This song is about a guy falling in love with a girl, and years later wanting to find her and escape to their utopia. Once you hear this song, the lyrics are instantly stuck in your head and it's such a fun song to sing along to. It's the kind of song that makes me wish I could sing.

"I Hate Myself For Loving You" by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Joan Jett is the epitome of a totally kick-butt, rocking woman. This song is great for singing, dancing, and even air guitar!

"Mockingbird" by Eminem
For those of you who thought that Slim Shady couldn't get through the first minute of a song without cursing, you're wrong. He refrains from using an expletive until the last line of the song. It's the softer side of Eminem!

"Toxic" by Britney Spears
I'm personally a bigger fan of vintage Britney than modern Britney. "Toxic" is just a song that makes you want to get up and dance and fall in love with a person who could be horrible for you.

"Beth" by Kiss
Kiss slowed it down with this little gem. This song is totally makes you think of a childhood friend that you could have fallen in love with. I know, I know: Cheesy, but true! "Beth" is a sad song, but it still rocks.

"Follow Me" by Uncle Kracker
This is a really smooth song that's about a man having an affair with a married woman. This fact doesn't become apparent until you actually listen to the lyrics. It's an easy listening song that calms you down with the melody.

"Bad Medicine" by Bon Jovi
This is your ultimate 80s hair band song. To me, it's like an older version of "Toxic": It's about this woman that is bad news, but the guy loves her anyway. This is a headbanging, crazy dancing, rocking guitar song.
