What a week, Sparklers!

After this crazy couple of days on sparknotes.com, it seems we all have some stories to tell.

Amazing Flood Story Awards go to...

that reminds me of the time that me and my sister were in the extra kitchen (now a storage room) and then my sister slipped, and grabbed the closest thing available: the tap. the tap come off in her hands, and the whole storage room (filled with old books, food, and the old televion and computer) was flooded! Our parents weren't home, so there we were dealing with a gushing pipe that wouldnt stop! we didn't think to turn of the main water switch, smart us. and then we had to call up our security guard who also happens to be a plumber and got him to fix it up with....somehting i think it was super-tape and then he stuck teh tap back on.. and then we spent the next four hours or so untill 11 at night gettign water out of the storage room, and gettign all the books out and hair-drying them. the computer and Tv were lost, sadly, becusae of how freaking heavy they were...oh well...it was really funny after we got every thing cleaned!! and before our parents got home...

I can't stop comparing this to this incident that took place a few years earlier. The water geyser/heater in our bathroom blew up one day and the pipes got disconnected and all and then there was HOT water spurting out and nobody could get an inch nearer to fix it. The water was scalding hot. Finally, it was only the next day that the water cooled down enough for a plumber to wade through. :D That day had to be the day when my family contributed to the Most Water Wasted pageant!

This remind me of the time when i had to get up really early (5 am) because i was going to a camping trip with my family (boring, i know!) and so i got into the shower which had one of those heating shower heads and i turned it on on the hottest setting and suddenly it burst into flames! i was right under it and pieces of burning plastic started falling from the shower head! i got really scared and bolted outta there. Naked, wet, cold and scared out of my pants which i wish i wouldve had at the time for all of my family saw me naked and screaming like a little girl. it scarred me for life P.S. sorry for the long random rant 

...and to zella435 for...

This is kind of unrelated, but I had an ancestor who was burned at the stake. It was during the English Civil War. She was found hiding persons loyal to Charles (the king), and she got burned for it. Even more intersting, her husband was murdered by Irish assassins in Switzerland some years earlier. I’m not sure what he did to deserve that. My family must have bad luck!

one summer someone had a paint set with them (i know odd but you dont know my family) and we decided to paint rocks. now we do this at every camping trip and arrange them in our backyard. its always an awesome keepsake…. even if clean up from camp doesnt go to well…
